Since opening its doors in 1994, Rice Palace has been serving up not only good food, but great service.  Located right off Interstate-10, Rice Palace is known far and wide for cooking up some tasty home-style dishes.  Open every day of the year, 24 hours a day, Rice Palace provides a cozy stop for tourists and locals, alike.  They also offer amenities for truck drivers seeking a much needed break, as well as a convenience store for travelers just needing to fill up.

Originally  founded by a group of investors and the Gielen family, the restaurant seated 88 customers.  A transformation just five years after opening doubled the size of the small restaurant to it current state you see today— with a wide –open dining area lined with reminiscent black and white photos from times before.  As time went on, the Gielen family eventually acquired full ownership of the business, and is currently owned by Mr. L.J. Gielen.

Under the direction of General Manager, Daniel Fontenot, Rice Palace is more than just a restaurant.  They also offer video poker and a full-service bar.   They accommodate large parties either in their banquet room or through their catering services.  Serving up a delicious lunch buffet daily, with a seafood buffet on Friday & Saturday, Rice Palace is sure to have something for everyone!

As members of the Chamber of Commerce, the Rice Palace has been the host of the Annual Holiday Business After Hours for over a decade; this is an event that brings together the business community for growth.  They also host the weekly Crowley Kiwanis meetings, in addition to  supporting numerous other organizations & programs within our community.   The Crowley Chamber of Commerce is proud to have Rice Palace as their December  Member of the Month.
